Rogue Fable III is a traditional rogue-like game which combines the depth, complexity, and challenge of the genre. However the PC beta is still rolling and we will be giving away more keys. We have an active community on discord at: discord.Fable Fortune is currently in closed beta and these keys will carry over into Early Access. Though its lacking nearly 3 years of polish and new content, it should still give a good idea of how the core game works. There is a now very out of date 'demo' version of the game available on the web at: itch.io.
His 1HP challenges were particularly mind blowing to me (beating the game without taking a single point of damage).
Youtuber Retromation has recently made a review/lets play of the game:įor examples of gameplay, one of the best players in our community has been posting lots of interesting challenge runs to his youtube channel at: Random595. Overall though I think its achieved the initial goal of cramming all the depth, challenge, and variety of the genre classics into a game that is both easy to learn and also playable in under an hour. Its been a long and sometimes challenging process with total reworks of practically every aspect of the game and the addition of loads of new content.
